I am in the market for a home hair colour but worried about reaction with previous dye. My natural colour is a level 7 ash -( think mousy dark blonde) I have previous bleach from highlights (level 8 medium blonde) that then had a prepig and then a level 5 and 6 put on top. I want to start doing colour at home but am unsure if I should do multiple hair test strands? Hair is pretty good condition. I am looking to go back to my natural level 7 then later transition into grey blending - (I have say 20-30 white hairs at the moment scattered sporadically
