I was sent this to Test & Review in exchange for my honest review from Garnier Community, of which I am a member. The first time I ever bought a self tanning lotion was in the 60's when most of them made your skin look orange and streaky. How things have changed since then. Garnier have made the perfect self tanning product, at least for me, in this. It's enriched with Vitamin E and nourishing Apricot oil which always leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth, all year round. This product is best applied after showering and exfoliating to get rid of any dry skin, especially around the knees and heels and making sure skin is dry. I apply the product to my skin and massage in well, using circular motions all over, making sure it's as even as you can so there's no risk of any smears or patches where some places are darker than others. After applying, it normally takes about an hour to develop and is best kept away from fabrics until then. It's very important to wash hands after each application. I love that this product is buildable to a colour that suits me. Being fair skinned, I prefer just to have a light glow, not a dark tan, so after 3 applications I was more than happy with the colour achieved, for me, although you can keep reapplying daily for up to a week if you want a darker tan.
