My review submitted on Garnier for my test and review --- Garnier Pro Retinol Smoothing Sheet Mask.
I was fortunate to test and review a Garnier Skin Active Pro-retinol Smoothing Serum Sheet Mask as a member of the Garnier Community. This sheet mask comes in a purple coloured sachet and is infused with the quantity of 1/2 a bottle of serum. It is also enriched with 3% Glycerin + Pro Retinol + Acai Extract. This formula is designed to fight signs of aging revealing smooth and even skin. I noticed when opening the pouch that it has a nice fresh scent that is not overpowering. The sheet mask is a nice thickness so when unfolding to use it does not tear and keeps it's shape. There are holes in the sheet mask for the facial features. It feels luxuriously rich with the generous amount of serum and is easy to apply to the face. Simply apply to the face using the holes for the facial features as a guide. It is important to apply the mask to freshly cleansed and toned skin. It requires simple sliding into place and then gently patting it into place and then you can enjoy the pampering experience. On contact with the skin it initially feels cool and refreshing and the scent is very relaxing. You simply leave the sheet mask in place for 15 minutes for the best result before removing. Once the mask is removed the serum layer left on the skin just needs massaging into the skin. The skin is left feeling so soft, plumped and glowing and looks so refined. Fine lines look rested and the complexion looks so healthy. I love that there is no traces of greasy or oily residue left on the skin. As there is so much serum left on the mask after use, I squeezed the excess serum into a small container, to use on my skin during my next skincare routine. I thought that I would save wasting this lovely serum and enjoy the added benefits from it. This sheet mask contains vegan ingredients and like all Garnier products it is cruelty free. I would definitely recommend this lovely soothing face mask and I shall be purchasing more for future use.
