Hi I had my hair change from red to brown and blonde bits in it. Bleach striped my hair first time but when I wash my hair after it ratty not nice can you help thanks

Basically, with extremely porous and damaged hair the deal is never simple… if the ends/hair shaft have split, I’m afraid it has to be cut - there’s no mending a split hair shaft, not long term anyway as damage travels upwards. You can use silicones to mask the damage or temporarily prevent further damage (which is what I’ve been doing with my own hair), but that’s all you can do really. If the damage isn’t too bad, if the hair isn’t too damaged, you can generally coax a bit of shine and softness into it with good hair care! I definitely recommend using a silicone serum/treatment on bleached hair, as it is the best kind of product for protection from mechanical/friction damage , sealing moisture inside the hair shaft and manageability. The Garnier coconut hair oil is probably the most perfect protective product you could possibly add to your routine, along with the hair food banana range xx
