Hi, my name's Heather. I am 41 yrs old, in the past 6 months or so the skin on my face has become extremely dry, I mean extremely. Particularly around my nose. It gets really flakey and peels off in quite large pieces. I also have developed quite a few blackheads. That is on top of the increasing number of fine lines. What can you suggest? I am getting desperate for help

Hi Heather, first of all what type of cleanser are you using? Are you using any strong acids or powerful actives on your skin? If you have recently changed your skincare routine, this may be a factor. Alternatively you may wish to consider moving to more gentle cleansing and deep hydration to soothe the dryness in the first place. In general, skin may react like this for several reasons, it helps to identify the possibilities before selecting a product.
