Hi @Jackie As I’ve freshly coloured my hair (see my post in colour transformation) from bright ice blond to dark blonde I will limit the amount of times I shampoo to stop the colour fading too quickly & always leave conditioner on for an extra few moments to really penetrate through. Instead I’ll freshen up with a spritz of dry shampoo inbetween washes, right now I’ll only wash my hair once a week (unless I’m going out somewhere exciting). But I have to say it’s taken me years to be this disciplined - I used to wash & heat style everyday 🙃 and put a ton of different expensive products through to limit greasy roots & tame dry fly-away static strands. It’s experience now that has taught me luxurious hydrated healthy strong hair also comes from within - feeding my hair from the inside giving it every chance to grow long without breakage - head start- from a nutritious diet too. 🙅🏼‍♀️💚(edited)

Twice a week is the recommended and i try stick to this. You can try a dry shampoo inbetween washes. If you wash your hair too often, it strips the natural oils and tricks your scalp into producing excessive oil which means greasy hair quicker.
